Mirococept在多种免疫系统相关细胞环境中展现出优异的效用，尤其在免疫细胞的表面，如树突状细胞和B淋巴细胞，具有较高的亲和力。当机体的免疫反应被激活时，Mirococept能够迅速且特异性地结合到关键免疫调节因子CD40的配体（CD40L），从而有效阻断CD40L与细胞表面天然CD40受体的相互作用，抑制CD40介导的免疫激活信号通路。
